Tracey Firth Memorial Fund
Tracey Firth, Programs Director with the Canadian Animal Health Institute, was a passionate supporter of Canadian agriculture and the animal health sector. She died suddenly in November of 2015 leaving an extreme void in the hearts of many. Tracey was a quiet and intense individual providing support for those she worked and lived with. She was known for her ability to communicate tough agricultural issues such as hormone and antibiotic use in a consumer friendly manner. Her legacy to the animal health industry though will be her leadership in the area of animal health product stewardship. In a global first, she designed and implemented a program for the animal health industry to collect and safely dispose of unwanted product in field. Donations in memory of Tracey and her commitment can be made to Farm & Food Care Canada.
